Two of the oval faces of these magnificent silver cufflinks bear a 'feature' hallmark of the four elemnts of the UK hallmark in a square pattern. These parts consist of:
The Lion Rampant - representing sterling silver
The Rose or The Anchor - representing the Assay Office they were marked at (in this case the Anchor of Birmingham)
'925' - representing the parts per thousand pure silver
'Oe' - Our makers mark (being the first and last letters of our Company name 'Octave'
They are made from heavyweight sheet and use thick chain which gives them a real feeling of substance. Ideal for engraving on the other two faces (see below)
